Strong summer sun can scorch delicate plants and make patios, balconies, and outdoor seating areas uncomfortably hot during the day. The Vomau HDPE Garden Shade Net Cloth helps filter harsh sunlight, creating a cooler, more comfortable space for plants, pets, and people. It is a simple, affordable way to protect seedlings and enjoy your outdoor areas more often through the hottest months.
The breathable mesh design allows air to flow freely while providing partial shade coverage, helping prevent heat buildup underneath. It is made from high-density polyethylene with a flexible woven structure, forming a lightweight and durable outdoor cover that is easy to cut, drape, and secure. Choose the 79×79 inch (2×2 m) size for small beds or the 79×157 inch (2×4 m) size for larger areas, in packs of one, two, or three. Reinforced edges with metal grommets make it easy to tie down.
Use it over vegetable gardens, flower beds, greenhouses, balconies, patios, pergolas, carports, kennels, and chicken runs. It helps young plants settle in without wilting. Secure it firmly with ties, clips, or hooks so it stays taut and does not flap in the wind. Remove it or fold it away before storms and strong winds. Keep the net clear of grills, fire pits, and open flames. Rinse it with a hose and let it dry before storing it rolled up.
